Nenhum time brasileiro chegou tão longe na competição. O jogo foi um show, com direito a olé. D'Alessandro (2) e Nilmar (2) marcaram os gols. Na soma dos resultados, o time colorado aplicou 6 a 0 nos mexicanos. Agora, o Inter aguarda pelo vencedor da outra semifinal, que será disputada nesta quinta-feira entre Estudiantes e Argentinos Juniors, em La Plata. No jogo de ida, empate em 1 a 1. O primeiro jogo da final ocorre no próximo dia 26, na Argentina. A grande final será disputada no dia 3 de dezembro, no Beira-Rio.
